This page is a starting point to all things r/c flight-related on this site.I fly gliders and electric-powered planes.

In my hangar (as of may 2, 05):

• Zagi Fixx - the exploading-foam parkflyer. bought used from Mr. Smith.
• Orange Cow, a combatwing sloaper, bought used from Mr. Smith.
• E-flite Ultimate Biplane, a profile foamie for 3d flying, with a 370 size brushless motor and a 3 cell lithium polymer battery pack... Great plane, but got heavy after repairs over time.
• FVK Bandit hotliner / sloper. It inherited the motor from the Omega, and comes with a separate sloper fuse.
• Gulp SR (Slope Racer) by Steve Drake. Built with a removable wing.
• Graupner Mini Starjet: nice-looking foamie, bought on sale. Flew a few times with good power on 10 cells and Permax 400 BB motor, but not tracking very well, and brittle foam nose... out with it.
• NSP Fusion: big, light, 6-servo wing TD. Bought used, it came with a Multiplex Profi 4000, the mother of all radios.
• Slegers Condor, a thermal duration plane. Bought used, just learning to fly it.
• Radical Edge 540, a small aerobatic parkflyer. Overbuilt & overpowered yet still fragile with the E-flite brushless motor, a temporary 3D plane.
• Superfly: meant to be a glow combat plane. Converted from direct drive to gear drive with a big prop. Power system migrated to X-250.
• SR X-250: Built-up ROG sport plane. Now featuring a brushless setup for relaxed flying.
• Boomerang EPP slope flying wing: light, faster then the zagis, ultracote covered, with smiley spar.
• First Zagi: 400X, now a sloper. - sold to Brian
• DAW Mini-Me Foamie: built as a speed 400 system, but turned back into a sloper. Not a good building job, but had a few nice fights in 20mph winds. Decomissioned.
• [Litestick: hanging from the living room ceiling - it's usually too windy for it where I fly.]
• Lil Plane: a scratch-built aerobatic speed 400, using a Wattage Sporty wing and the Litestick's receiver. Crashed the day the X-250 first flew...
• Omega E 1.8 with Kontronik Drive 200 (?): powerful, fragile. Built a non-powered fuselage for it, which thermals great. Traded the airframe away for two sixpacks of german beer.
• [Dj Aerotech Monarch HLG, from Ebay. Last generation of HLGs before the current DLGs. A servo combusted when I last switched it on.]
• Simprop Lift Off XXS: ex-hotliner, now a fast beater sloper. And now it's a bit too crunched up.
• Second Zagi: Cobalt, currently a sloper too. I started re-covering it and found the foam structure badly damaged, so I threw it out. The equipment went into the Boomerang.
